Microsoft is making a deeper platform move than “better Copilot answers.” With the new Work IQ APIs, it is exposing the intelligence layer behind Microsoft 365 so agents can work with business context, use tools, and operate inside governed digital workspaces. That changes the enterprise AI conversation. The question is no longer just whether a model can generate a strong response.
